Novenber 9th 2022. We firstly defined five immune microenvironment subtypes of liver cancer with single cell precision and reveals the heterogeneity of tumor associated neutrophils (TAN). We also discovered the tumor promoting mechanism of two key subtypes, CCL4+ and PD-L1+ TAN, and finally proved that targeting tumor associated neutrophils is expected to form a new immunotherapy scheme for liver cancer. September 5th 2022, Zhangning Lab hold the first Lab meeting in the new Semester. At first, Jinghui Cheng had a paper sharing about algorithm. Then the new students Tong Jin and Zijie Jin gave a brief self-introductions and finally professor Zhang understands the work of each student and arranges the study and work tasks for the new semester. In this semester, we will finish 2-3 projects, make good jobs for all our start a new chapter.

July 26th 2022, Zhangning Lab hold a doctoral paper sharing meeting, where 11 doctoral students give reports that they were interested in and focued on, including Synthetic lethality for cancer therapy, Single cell advances in liver cancer, organoids in cancer heterogeneity and so on. All professors attending this meeting gave some advices at the end of the meeting. And finally, all students' reports were scored and the top six selected got rewords

April 10th 2022, after Tomb Sweeping Day, Zhangning Lab hold a team building activity in Beijing Botanical Garden, located at the foot of Beijing West Mountain. We gathered at the gate at 9 a.m. and completed the garden tour in 3 hours. Then we set up a tent, had a rest and had a picnic. Professor Zhang constantly emphasizes the importance of rest and physical exercise.
